Volbeat este o trupa de heavy metal din Danemarca, formata in 2001. Au lansat primul lor album, The Strength/The Sound/The Songs, in 2005 si apoi, in februarie 2007 a urmat Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil. In martie 2007 au ajuns in topurile daneze pentru cel mai bine vandut album de metal.
Volbeat a luat nastere in 2001, dupa ce solistul Michael Poulsen a parasit trupa Dominus. Volbeat canta o combinatie de heavy metal si rockabilly si se inspira dine rock n' roll-ul unor legende precum Elvis Presley si Johnny Cash. Criticile au fost in general pozitive in legatura cu albumul lor The Strength / The Sound / The Songs. Volbeat este, de asemenea, o trupa foarte laudata pentru concertele lor live.
