Foo Fighters este o trupa americana de alternative rock / post-grunge, formata de in 1995 in Seattle, SUA. Solistul Dave Grohl a inceput proiectul de unul singur, dupa destramarea trupei sale anterioare, iar apoi i s-au alaturat Nate Mendel (bass), William Goldsmith (tobe) si Pat Smear (chitara), ultimii doi fiind mai tarziu inlocuiti de Taylor Hawkins si Franz Stahl.
